Education Foundation.
All job annoucements, new hires and transfers must be approved by the

The position description must be completed and actively posted online while you are searching for a new employment candidate. The announcement must be posted for five (5) business days before an individual can be provided with a job offer. To complete the job announcement:
- Visit http://www.atlaref.org to create an AREF Online account.
- Once created, login and click on “Human Resources Management” under the AREF Online Main Menu.
- Click on “Add New Job Announcement” under the “Job Announcements” menu.
Once the position description is submitted, it will be reviewed by AREF’s Administrative Office for approval. The approval status will be communicated to you within five (5) business days.
You may request that all potential applicants, with whom you’ve had direct contact, apply online via http://www.atlaref.org by uploading his/her resume or CV once the job announcement is approved and activated.
If a candidate has been identified as the incumbent, submit the Request to Hire Form to AREF Human Resources. The Request to Hire Form must contain the signature of the VA Principal Investigator for whom the employee will be working. An email from the Principal Investigator regarding salary will suffice. All e-mails regarding new hires should be directed to AREF Human Resources. Upon review of the request form and employment application, an employment offer will be prepared. Incomplete forms will be returned. No one may begin working until they have received and signed an offer letter from AREF.
All AREF employees must receive a VA "Without Compensation" (WOC) appointment.
Please Note: Positions that require or intend to hire licensed medical physicians or practitioners will be reviewed with an AREF Approving Official.
